Cleveland, OH--Former Philips executive James Fulton has joined Imalux Corporation, developer of the Niris(R) Imaging System based on Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), as its President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Fulton will have overall responsibility for daily operations of the Company.

His extensive market development experience in the successful introduction of new imaging technologies and systems will be invaluable and will contribute greatly to the achievement of our accelerated growth plans.”
Prior to joining Imalux, Mr. Fulton enjoyed a thirty-year career with Picker International, Marconi Medical, and Philips Healthcare. He held numerous direct sales, sales management, and executive management positions, including Vice President and General Manager of Picker’s global nuclear medicine business and Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Product Planning for Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance (MR), and Nuclear Medicine.
In 2001, after the acquisition of Picker-Marconi by Philips Healthcare, Mr. Fulton joined the CT business unit as Vice President of Global Marketing with responsibility for the development and implementation of global product and marketing policy. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the worldwide Computer Tomography business unit of Philips Healthcare where he was responsible for worldwide profit and loss for the CT business. Additionally, he managed product development, finance, supply chain, Customer support, human resources, and quality functions, and oversaw operations in the United States, Israel, The Netherlands, and India.
Mr. Fulton stated, “I am extremely excited to join the Imalux team. I believe optical imaging is now ready to move into routine clinical use with the availability of the Niris Imaging System.
