Surgeons Practice Procedures Using Simbionix Simulators
Cleveland, OH--Simbionix simulators are increasingly being used by surgeons to prepare for complicated procedures to improve the speed and accuracy of surgery, reports the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The company has 1,400 simulators in use worldwide. In addition to teaching the basics of a procedure, the Simbionix simulators enable doctors to download patient-specific information, such as CT scans, to create simulations for specific patients.
